Who this covers

Focys ("the app") is currently operated by an individual developer, not a registered company. Contact for any privacy question, data request, or concern: [CONTACT EMAIL - TO BE FILLED IN].

What data is collected

Account info - if you sign in with Google, your name, email address, and profile photo, used only to identify your account and let you sync across your own devices.
Content you create - tasks, projects, sections, focus/pomodoro session history, your weekly routine plan, and any willpower commitments you add. This is the core data the app exists to store on your behalf.
Usage time - how long the app is open while you're signed in, used only to show you your own usage in the app.
Error reports - if a crash or bug occurs, technical details (what happened, your account ID, browser/device info) may be sent to our error-tracking tool so it can be fixed. This never includes the content of your tasks or commitments.

How it's stored

All data is stored in Google Firebase (Realtime Database and Authentication), scoped so that only your own signed-in account can read or write your own data. An administrator account (used only for testing/support during alpha) has read-only access to help diagnose problems - never write access to your data.

What it's used for

Solely to provide the app's functionality: storing and syncing your tasks, sessions, routine, and willpower data across your devices, and letting you review your own usage. Your data is never sold, and is not used for advertising.

Third parties

Google Firebase - hosting, authentication, and database storage.
Google Sign-In - if you choose to sign in with Google.
An error-tracking service - technical crash/error reports only, never your task content.

Your rights

You can delete your entire account and all associated data at any time from within the app (click your account icon, then "Delete account & all data"). This is permanent and cannot be undone. You can also request a copy of your data, or ask any question about how it's handled, by contacting [CONTACT EMAIL - TO BE FILLED IN].

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children and is not knowingly used to collect data from children.

Alpha-testing status

This app is currently in an early alpha-testing phase. Features, this policy, and the underlying data model may change without notice while the product is being actively developed. You'll be notified of material changes to this policy before they take effect, once contact details are finalized.
